TinyURL.com gives you a very short URL that is redirected to your URL. It makes it easier for people to remember your URL and you can use it to keep URLs in email and newsletters from wrapping and not being clickable in many people's email clients.

There are a number of companies that charge you top dollar for a search of expired domain names and on-hold domains. However, DeletedDomains.com does it for free. They offer a powerful search function as well as a real time listed sorted by number of characters in the name.

Animation Library

ChangeDetection.com
Webmasters can use this service to notify users when pages on their site change. This is a welcome service since Netmind now charges a fee.

Daily Factoid Applet
Barbara Feldman, author of the popular syndicated column Surfing the Net with Kids provides this free service that puts a new factoid on your page every day. (international)
