Become.com is an unremarkable name for a remarkable search service. If you have searched for reviews, comparisons, and other valuable shopping information recently you may have noticed how hard it is to find good information.
Google is my favorite general search engine, but when it comes to finding substantial information on getting the best buy on something you need to purchase it seems almost useless. There are so many price comparison engine results and sites with nothing but the manufacturer's descriptions that I often give up in frustration.
Apparently the folks at Become.com have noticed the same thing and have found a very useful search engine niche. The Become.com search database is designed specifically for locating the kind of information the serious shopper needs to find the best deal.
As always, I prefer getting things for free, but sometimes that is not possible. In those cases you can bet that I'm looking for the best deal, and now, Become.com has now become my first stop on those deal-hunting journeys.
